The server has moved — update your launcher once, by hand

The game server is now on a new address, and the old one is switched off. Your old launcher still points at the old address, so it cannot connect any more — and it cannot update itself, because the update also came from the old machine. One manual download fixes it for good: everything after this is automatic again.

Close the game and the launcher, download the file above, run it, and point it at the folder where your game already is. The launcher copies itself there, replaces the old one and restarts. Your game files are checked, not re-downloaded.

Windows may show «Windows protected your PC» because the file is not signed — choose More info → Run anyway. When it opens, the title bar should read GW Launcher v1.1.16. If it still says v1.1.10 or v1.1.11, the update did not apply — check that you pointed it at your game folder.

Download the Launcher

Click the download button above to get the Golden World Launcher.

Run the Launcher and choose a folder

Launch the downloaded file and select a folder where the game client will be installed (e.g. C:\Games\Golden World\). The launcher will automatically download all required files.

Create an account

Go to Account Panel, login with Discord, and create a game account with a password.

Play the game

Once the download is complete, click Play in the launcher or run ClassicUO.exe from the game folder. Enter your account name and password to begin your adventure.
